This screen provides the ratio calculation result on the top row (if applicable) and the

decodability calculation and grade on the bottom row. If Ratio is not appropriate (UPC,

EAN, Code 93 or Code 128), the Ratio field will be omitted.

Press Select to bring up the next screen.

Bar width deviations are represented graphically on the display.

 “R” letters represent “range”

 “A” represents the average of all character bar width deviations

The closer the “A” is to the center of the display, the better.

Note: The location of the “A” is also indicated with the 5 LED indicators on the front of the verifier unit.

The following shows the percentage of the tolerance represented by each position on the

display:

 Negative numbers to the left indicate bars are narrower

 Positive numbers to the right indicate bars are wider
